Sheri's Bensipeel Story

I am from Lake Tahoe. I'm at about 6200 feet and we get quite a bit of sunshine even in the winter, so I was showing the effects after 38 years of living there. I had four things show up the year that I turned 50. One was a lump in my breast, and then I found out I had mercury toxicity. Then I was diagnosed with stage III lung disease, and then I found out a had a growth on my parathyroid, which I didn't even know I had one. I didn't know what it was. So, my whole life just kind of fell off track.
They really put the fear in me because they told me that I'd need a double lung transplant. I, eventually I did end up going on oxygen for five years and it bothered me tremendously to walk around with a cannula on my face. I didn't want people to think I was dying, so I kind of hid it from people. Just determined to not believe what they said.
Having this procedure wasn't anything scary when I was thinking about having to have a double lung transplant and it really, all of this just made me stronger. And so, I've been on this healing journey for about 11 years. What was so beautiful about pre-treatment was being embraced by all of the staff at the center, where they sat and listened to where I was coming from, and who I am, and what I'm all about. I sat down with Kimberly and she listened to a lot of my past and that's an important part of how I got here and why I was here. She did some meditation with me before procedure. I sat on a beautiful bio mat with warmth. They just have some nice extra touches. It's wonderful. I feel like I got reupholstered, which is great.
Anybody that is considering this procedure, it's so worth it. I mean, I actually went out with the green mask on my face, out in public. I wore a hat and I didn't know I was going to be able to do that. There was no pain. Went back to my hotel room. The next morning I got back in here, they lifted the mask off and I didn't feel that coming off. I, couple times, had some anxiety because when you do your home mask yourself, you can feel the tightness and I would feel the mask drying and it was tight, but it wasn't like... There was no pain.
The result is that I hear mostly from people that my skin looks radiant and that feels so good because when you get older, your skin looks kind of dry and tired and we wear our stress on our face and I just look forward to my new phase in life. The reason that I did this was to be a light for others, to look my best. My skin's radiating because I'm working on loving myself. It's a complete picture. it's not just a pretty face.
You want to feel good about yourself, we all do. We all want to look good, and we want to feel good about ourselves and just having my skin done was just a little piece of the picture that I'm painting for myself.
Great.
Okay. Where'd that come from?
