Practice Overview

My name is Richard Bensimon. I am a board certified plastic surgeon. I went to medical school at the University of Michigan. I did my postgraduate studies in New York. Studied general surgery at Columbia University and I did my plastic surgical training at Montefiore Medical Center in New York.

At the Bensimon Center, we do a full spectrum of plastic surgical procedures. The main procedures that we perform here are facial and body rejuvenation by the surgery. And body surgery, we do abdominoplasty or tummy tucks. We do liposuction. We do breast augmentation and other breast surgeries. In facial surgery we do eyelid surgery, facelift surgery, and one real specialty here is facial resurfacing, very comprehensive chemical peel.

We very much want the patient to feel comfortable. We don't want them to feel that they're coming into a medical office. The whole environment has been changed to be warm, welcoming, and it's really an educational experience for patients. We want them to understand what would be involved in what they may choose to do and then decide for themselves. This is not high pressure sales. It's not what we do. We want them to understand what the options are and what, in our opinion, are the best operations or options for them.
